Miss Monique was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. Her radio career began in Detroit, Michigan after graduating from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. After moving from Detroit, Miss Monique graced the airwaves in Hattiesburg, MS, Augusta, GA, Albany, GA, Montgomery, AL and Columbia, SC. Miss Monique continues to hold down the afternoon position at Columbia’s 100.1 The Beat, Augusta’s Power 107 and now Mix 92.3. She’s also Program Director at 2 of Columbia’s Iheart radio stations.
Moreover to her radio career, her love for writing is clearly witnessed in the 10 stage plays that she has written and produced. As a devoted Mother(16 year old A.J), respected Playwright, Director, Producer, and focused Community Advocate—Miss Monique is impeccably using the power of the microphone and stage to inspire others, along with living her own life to the fullest.
