BIOGRAPHY

Miss Monique is a radio personality, playwright, and multi-market Program Director with over two decades of experience at iHeart Media. After graduating from the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Detroit, Michigan, she launched her broadcasting career. Her voice has captivated listeners across numerous cities, including Hattiesburg, MS; Albany, GA; Milwaukee, WI; Montgomery, AL; Columbia, SC; Detroit, MI; Florence, SC; New Orleans, LA; and Augusta, GA. Miss Monique is the newly appointed Program Director and afternoon host on Baton Rouge’s all-new 104-1 The Vibe, broadcasting from 3 PM to 7 PM.


Throughout her career, Miss Monique has had candid conversations with notable figures such as former President Barack Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris, Beyoncé, amongst others. Beyond her radio career, she has written and produced 13 stage plays in cities like Columbia, Atlanta, and Augusta. She was honored with a city proclamation, recognizing her significant contributions to the arts.


Passionate about giving back to her community, Miss Monique has spearheaded numerous events such as the Sista Strut breast cancer awareness walk, Kutz for Kidz, turkey giveaways, and more. Her dedication to raising awareness on issues like domestic violence, breast cancer, and teen violence underscores her commitment to making a positive impact. She also sits on the board of nonprofit organizations Better Me Mentoring and T.AG. (Teens in action with goals).


Balancing her multifaceted career with her role as a devoted mother to her son Allen (AJ), Miss Monique is a true force of nature. As the founder of Raisin’ AJ Productions, she leverages the power of radio and theatre to inspire others and live passionately.
