As the world still mourns the death of rapper Nipsey Hussle, more people are listening to his music. It has just been announced that the late rapper's ‘Victory Lap’ has gone Platinum.
Directly after his passing his sales and streams have increased, His sales jumped from 1,000 to 14,000 in one week and his video streams went from 900,000 to 9.7 million the day he passed.
Since its release in February “Victory Lap” has sold 328,000 units based on sales and streams. It has debuted at No.4 on the Billboard’s 200 album charts. The album features collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, CeeLo Green, YG and more. Although Nipsey is no longer with us, the California legends’ music will last with us forever.
