With Kobe Bryant's tragic and devastating death came a petition to have Kobe Bryant be the new NBA Logo that has been signed by over 2 million people. The thing is that it probably won't happen because the original logo was never an individual player to begin with. The NBA has never officially stated that the NBA logo player is legend Jerry West! For real! It makes perfect sense, if it was Jerry West he would be getting checks up the ying yang. Think about it, he would at least get a piece of something for the use of it. Although the designer of the logo said that he did get inspiration from Jerry West it is not officially him. Jerry West has never sued or gone after the NBA but he also wishes they would change the logo up. We been saying it's Jerry West since day 1 and now you are mind blown!
