Benny The Butcher Seemingly Disses Freddie Gibbs Again On New Song

Benny The Butcher isn't letting up on Freddie Gibbs because the Griselda rapper just dissed him again in a new song.

Benny recently joined forces with Austin Sour, Rain 910, and Visionplay Ent for their new collaboration "Position of Power." In his verse, the Buffalo, N.Y. native alludes to the incident when Gibbs had his chain snatched during a brawl at a restaurant.

"Rumors back home that we took some jewels/Some s**t that don’t even cost a ‘B’ on my chain," he spits. "Benny the Butcher the reason these rappers can’t eat in this lane.”

Benny The Butcher spoke about his feud with Freddie Gibbs last year during his interview on The Breakfast Club. Benny previously claimed the chemistry they once had on past songs like "Frank Lucas" and "One Way Flight" came and went. His comments about their damaged friendship set off a grueling war of words between the two until things got physical in 2022. While he was at a restaurant in Buffalo for a tour stop, Gibbs was allegedly jumped by Benny's associates. Gibbs chain was stolen during the melee.

Despite everything that happened between them, Benny told Charlamagne Tha God he has no issues with Gibbs. He emphasized that there's no more bad blood, however, his new verse may suggest otherwise.

"It is bygone to me," Benny said. "People can say that right now. It is bygones. The fans, they want to pin us against each other and I get it. It's entertainment for them... but I be telling them too like 'stop. “I don’t got no problem with that man. I don't think he got no problem with me. It is what is it, and I don’t give a f**k."
