Cardi B is going to be outside all summer after she drops her first solo record of 2025.
On Tuesday, June 17, the Bronx rapper announced her upcoming single "Outside" produced by Charlie Heat & HeyMicki. Fans are convinced the infectious banger serves as a diss track aimed at her estranged husband, Offset, based on the scathing bars in her first verse.
"When I tell you these n****s ain't s**t, please believe me," she spits. "They gon' f**k on anything, these n****s way too easy/Good for nothing, low-down, dirty dogs, I'm convinced/Next time you see your momma, tell her how she raised a b***h."
Cardi B first teased the track last September when she dropped the a cappella version on Instagram Live. At the time, she had accused the father of her three kids of cheating on her. Several months later, someone on TikTok leaked a longer snippet of the song.
"Do you how you do me, bet you we won't speak again," she raps. "Favorite player from your favorite team, he in my DM."
It's been over a year since Cardi B delivered a solo track from her long-overdue sophomore album. She previously dropped "Enough (Miami)" following her other track "Like What." Since then, Cardi has joined forces with other artists like Rob49, GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Pardison Fontaine, and DJ Khaled. Despite all the music she's dropped lately, Bardi has yet to provide a solid update on a release date for her anticipated album.
Look out for Cardi B's new song "Outside" dropping this Friday, June 20.
