Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is celebrating after the critically acclaimed radio show surpassed 1 billion downloads.

On Wednesday, June 4, iHeartMedia and The Black Effect Podcast Network announced that The Breakfast Club podcast has been downloaded over 1 billion times. The show, hosted by DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God and Jess Hilarious, joins a rare list of podcasts that have reached this impressive milestone.

“We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s tuned in, supported, and helped make this milestone possible,” DJ Envy said. “A billion views is more than just a number — it’s a testament to the culture, the conversations, and the community we’ve built together. Thank you for riding with The Breakfast Club!”

“A Billion Plus downloads of The Breakfast Club podcast is proof that radio continues to evolve,” Charlamagne Tha God said. “The Breakfast Club started on the radio, but we grew by meeting our audience wherever they are: not just on podcast, YouTube, and social media but in real life, having real conversations. Whether we're talking hip hop, politics, or mental health, we've never been afraid to embrace the real issues that matter to the Black Community and America as a whole. Gratitude to our listeners!"

The World's Most Dangerous Morning Radio Show launched in 2010 on Power 105.1 in New York and quickly became a must-stop destination for musicians, entertainers, politicians, and the most talked-about cultural figures of the moment. Since then, it has amassed a dedicated following captivated by the honest opinions and cultural breakdowns. The show has featured numerous guests over the years, including former President Barack Obama, former President Joe Biden, former Vice President Kamala Harris, JAY-Z, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar, Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, Future, 50 Cent, Lizzo, Will Smith, Alicia Keys and many more.

“Reaching this incredible milestone is the direct result of the unique personal connection Charlamagne, Envy and Jess have with their dedicated listeners, who know they’ll always get the realest of real when they tune in,” Thea Mitchem, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia said. “This show is a cultural force that has captivated audiences for nearly 15 years, and it’s only getting bigger and bolder.”

Congratulations to The Breakfast Club for achieving this momentous milestone!
