2Pac's Brother Slams Trump Campaign

2Pac's family was not pleased after they found out that the Trump campaign used the late rapper "as a prop" to mock Senator Kamala Harris.

Ahead of last week's U.S. vice presidential debate, the Trump campaign "trolled" Kamala by a saving seat for the late rapper, who was killed in 1996, as a jab at the Democratic VP nominee after she mistakenly called Pac the "best rapper alive" during a recent interview with CNN commentator Angela Rye.

"I keep doing that," Kamala laughed, quickly correcting her mistake, after Angela pointed out that Tupac isn't alive.

Following the Trump campaign's jab, Mopreme Shakur, 2pac's stepbrother, told TMZ the gesture was "clearly disrespectful" to his family. He added that he's not surprised by the disrespect because "We should know Trump's lack of respect for the Black and brown community." Mopreme went on to say that he doesn't expect an apology from POTUS, but would like him to make it up to his family by releasing his father, who is 2Pac's stepfather, from prison.

Mopreme's dad, Mutulu, was sentenced to 60 years behind bars in1988 for RICO conspiracy, armed bank robbery and bank robbery killings, TMZ reports. He's been denied parole 8 times.

As for Kamala, Mopreme told the outlet that her calling 2Pac the "best rapper alive" shows she has excellent taste in music. He also said it's not surprising given the fact that Kamala is an Oakland native.
