100.1 the Beat & The Richland County Sheriffs Dept. presents “Trunk or Treat with The Beat” Thursday October 31st, 2019 from 6p-8p. Trunk or Treat with the Beat will give our listeners a safe alternative way to celebrate Halloween this year. Children of all ages will have the opportunity to come out to the Sheriffs Dept. at 2500 Decker Blvd. and receive free kid print ID’s, prizes from the costume contest, free hot dogs, hamburgers along with CANDY from the trunks of decorated police officers trunks as well as the 100.1 The Beat truck that will also be filled with candy. In addition, LIVE PD TV personalities will be on site to meet & greet with the community. With a live DJ, candy and MORE. This event will be fun for the entire community.
Together we will ease the mind that parents have when it comes to trick or treating on Halloween. It is important to The Beat & The Sheriffs Dept that we assist in the bridge between the police and our community as well as the safety of our children.
