Beyoncé looked dazzling as she walked the red carpet at the world premiere of The Lion King live-action remake in Los Angeles — and she wasn't the only showstopper at the event: standing by her side was Bey's fashionista daughter Blue Ivy.
Both the "Yonce" singer and her baby girl brought the sparkles to the debut screening of the film, in which Beyoncé voices the character of Adult Nala in the new Disney adaptation, opening in theaters July 19.
The 37-year-old donned a black, crystal-covered dress and black veil, diamond earrings, heels with sparkling straps, and wore her hair in braids. The 7-year-old appeared beside the songbird, wearing a sophisticated black blazer and a matching black veil, both encrusted with gems like her mommy's ensemble, as well as some shimmering accessories to complement her micro braids.
Tuesday's (July 9) red carpet appearance was a rare one for the superstar: the last time she was pictured walking an event was at the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2016. Beyoncé also received support from her pop star proteges, Chloe and Halle Bailey, and fellow Destiny's Child sisters in song, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Hours after making her arrival, Beyoncé issued a brand-new song for Disney's The Lion King adaptation called "Spirit." As previously reported, the record is expected to play during an emotional scene involving her character, Nala.
